Renter's Agreement
I agree to these terms and conditions for each flight, as follows. I will—
- Know, observe, and comply with all federal, state, and local air regulations, manufacturer’s operational procedures, and the GGH Operating Procedures, Rules, and Regulations.
- Complete the required checkouts and maintain currency for each helicopter I am authorized to rent. A valid checkout form signed by myself and an authorized GGH instructor must be on file to rent.
- Operate GGH helicopters only when my Medical, Pilot’s Certificate and Flight Reviews are current and appropriate for the planned flight, and in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
- Inspect and make a ground check of the helicopter, its equipment, and accessories before takeoff and not accept such aircraft until I am satisfied it is airworthy and all equipment and accessories necessary for the flight are operational.
- Allow no one else to operate any helicopter under my control except an authorized GGH instructor or Designated Pilot Examiner, and remove all flight controls for the left seat when solo or carrying a passenger.
- Use GGH aircraft for lawful purposes only and at all times in accordance with appropriate governmental aviation agency regulations.
- Land only at public airports published in the FAA Airport/Facility Directory, except as a precautionary or emergency measure, when reasonably necessary, or when pre-approved by a GGH instructor.
- Return the aircraft to my departure airport within the time I have scheduled, weather permitting, in the same condition I received it, normal wear and tear excepted.
- Pay all bills based upon the established and adjusted GGH rate immediately upon presentation.
- Report at once all damages, malfunctions, or accidents, whether major or minor, to GGH, including names and addresses of witnesses and all involved parties; in the event of an accident involving the helicopter, not to move the aircraft unless authorized to do so by GGH.
- Assume liability for loss or damage to the aircraft that is not covered by the insurance maintained by GGH or its lessors, including but not limited to the deductible portion of any claim. I understand that flying may be hazardous and may result in physical injury or death to myself or my passengers. I hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GGH, its partners, members, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, costs, losses, damages, liability, or any obligations of any nature whatsoever, including attorneys fees and costs incurred by GGH resulting from the operation of any helicopter in my possession and control.
- Pay reasonable legal fees and costs should any portion of the agreement have to be enforced against me by legal action.
Rental Rates
For current rental rates, contact our office. All rental rates are wet (includes fuel and oil). GGH currently imposes a fuel surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Credit for fuel receipts will be applied to your bill.
GGH offers a discounted rental rate for both the R22 and R44 that is available to flight-school clients who buy flight time in $1500 blocks. The fuel surcharge is not discounted.
GGH accepts cash, check, and credit cards. You may pay with check in advance or leave a credit card on file if you are flying after hours.
