Reservations
Scheduling a flight with us is easy—just call us at (408) 805-5910 or send us an inquiry to get started on planning the perfect trip or tour. Although we are based in San Jose and Hayward, we can pick you up from any Bay Area airport. We make every attempt to work last-minute flights into our schedule, but the earlier you call, the better the chance that we'll be able to meet your requirements. Even if your plans are tentative, contact us by email or phone and we will be happy to provide more information that may help in your decision-making.
GGH accepts cash, check, and credit cards for all services provided, including your flight and any other reservations or bookings we make on your behalf. If you are flying before or after office hours, you may pay with check in advance or leave a credit card on file. For first-time clients, we require a credit card to reserve your flight time.
During our flight planning, we will gather information that the FAA requires we collect, including your name, your birthdate, and how much you and your bags weigh. If you're not sure, you can always step on the scales in our office, or your pilot can hand-weigh your baggage at the aircraft. Please note our weight requirements for the Clipper: No passenger heavier than 300 pounds in any seat. Our maximum payload for an hour's flight in the Clipper R44 is 540 pounds, including all passengers and baggage. Weight limitations in the Bell LongRanger are usually only an issue with excess baggage.
On the day of your flight, please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your planned departure. If this is your first flight with us, we'll check your picture ID and ask you to read and sign a brief flight waiver that will remain on file in our office. Once we've escorted you to the aircraft, your pilot will load your luggage, give you a short pre-flight briefing, and help you settle into your seat.
All flights are conducted under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. Iin accordance with regulations, Golden Gate Helicopters prohibits the transport of hazardous materials, firearms, and explosives on our aircraft.

Golden Gate Helicopters has a 24-hour cancellation policy, except in cases of emergency or weather, and we will charge a 1-hour minimum fee for no-shows and same-day cancellations.
